Counselor In Training Program

The Counselor In Training (CIT) program is a paid work internship for high school students looking for an opportunity to explore their creative interests while gaining valuable work experience (and making new friends). As CASA’s youngest counselors, CITs assist in all of daily duties and are able to work in both our Young Creators and Creative Little Kids programs. CASA requires all employed students under the age of 18 to provide a completed D.C. work permit before the start of the season.

To apply, students will need to submit a resume and complete our online application. All applicants must be available for at least two full sessions to be considered eligible for the position.

Applications for the CASA 2026 Counselor in Training program are now open!
